Build Custom Templates - Now Available for Pro and Premium Users

We've launched the Template Customizer - a visual editor that lets you build your own document templates from any of our existing designs as a starting point. Pick a base template, tweak the parts you want to change, and save it to your account for reuse on future documents.

What you can customize

• Typography - swap fonts, adjust sizes, and set weights for headings and body text
• Colours - change heading colours, body text, accent colours, and backgrounds
• Spacing - control margins, padding, and the breathing room between sections
• Page settings - choose Letter or A4, portrait or landscape
• Headers and footers - a visual three-section editor (left, centre, right) with a formatting toolbar, so you can drop in your logo, document title, dates, or anything else
• Page numbers - position (left, centre, right), format ("Page 1 of 10" or just "1, 2, 3..."), font size, and colour

Live preview as you edit

Every change you make shows up in the preview pane on the right immediately. No save-and-check cycle. Zoom in to inspect details, or zoom out to see how a full page reads at a glance.

Click anywhere to edit it

Want to change the heading colour? Click the heading in the preview and the relevant section opens automatically. Headers and footers have dashed boundary indicators so you can always see what area you are working in.

Saved to your account

Custom templates are stored on your account and appear alongside the built-in templates when you format a new document. Edit them anytime - changes apply to new documents you create with that template.

Who can use it

The Template Customizer is available to Pro and Premium subscribers. If you would like access and you are on a lower tier, you can upgrade from your subscription page.
