Things to Know Before You Start

  • Cover pages use the main document styling, not custom template headers/footers
  • Headers and footers currently repeat on all pages including the cover page and table of contents — we're working on page-specific control
  • Background styles on headings are template-specific — they can be adjusted but not transferred between templates
  • Full-page images aren't supported as headers or footers
  • Uploading an existing business template for AI conversion isn't available yet (coming soon)

Frequently Asked Questions

Open the Header & Footer section in the customizer panel. Click the Image button to open your image library and select a logo. You can position it in the left, centre, or right section of the header or footer. Once inserted, click the image to select it and drag the resize handles to adjust its size.

The base template cannot be changed once you've begun customizing. If you'd like to try a different base, create a new template and select the desired base template at the start. You can always clone your existing template first if you want to preserve your current design.

There is no fixed limit on the number of custom templates you can create. Fair use applies — create as many as you need for your business.

Hover over the template in your "My Custom Templates" gallery on the main page. A pencil icon and a trash icon will appear. Click the trash icon to delete. Note: this cannot be undone.

Yes. Open the template you want to clone in the Template Customizer, change the template name, then click Save. This creates a separate copy that you can adjust independently without affecting the original.

The Base Template is a clean, simplified starting point without decorative styling. It's designed for users who want to build templates more closely aligned with their own business branding rather than starting from a pre-styled design.

Custom font imports aren't supported at this time. The customizer includes Windows system fonts and a curated selection of Google Fonts covering the core fonts used in most desktop publishing applications. We plan to expand the font library soon.

This isn't currently available in the customizer, but we're working on it. In the meantime, please contact us with your requirements — we may be able to configure it for you.

Template sharing between accounts isn't available yet but is on our roadmap. As a workaround, you can share your account login so colleagues can use the template within the same account. Note: this only works with email/password logins, not Google sign-in.
